It comes as a great pleasure to me to be your guide during your stay in our beautiful Egypt. For the duration of your tour in Egypt, allow me, kindly, to advise you with places and monumental sites that can be of an interest to you. Cairo is a melting spot of civilizations and cultures. I took this into consideration when I created your itinerary in order to make your stay most enjoyable. I'm a licensed tour guide with memberships in the Egyptian General Tourist Guides Syndicate (EGTGS) and the World Federation of Tourist Guide Association (WFTGA). I provide affordable Tours that enable my guest to get more of Egypt. You are invited and most welcome to visit the land of confusion (Egypt) which is known to historians & Egyptologists as the mother of the world. We will cover together the Ancient World of the Pharaohs travels through time. This is one of my guided tour itineraries that tells the story of Egypt.

EGYPTIAN HISTORY WEEK

Day 1

Arrival at Cairo airport and transfer to the hotel

Day 2  

Visit Saqqara. Include the Step Pyramid and the Nobles Tombs. Visit Memphis followed by lunch and, later, visit Giza. Include the Great Pyramid, the Sphinx, Khufu Pyramid, and the Menkawra Pyramid. The tour duration 7-8 hours. Optional tour: Giza Sound and Light Show

Day 3

Visit the Egyptian museum. Including King Tut Ankh Amon collection. Visit the citadel. Including the Alabaster Mosque of Mohamed Ali. Stop for lunch before visiting Necropolis (City of the Dead). It's one of the medieval cemeteries, now inhabited by a big population, using the fancy mausoleum buildings as houses. We will visit the mausoleum of the Mohamed Ali family and a family living within a mausoleum building. Walking tour in El Moez St, of Medieval Cairo. The most preserved area with medieval Islamic architecture. Transfer to Giza train station to take the sleeper train to Aswan

Day 4

Arrive in Aswan around noon and visit the High dam. Check in the Nile Cruise and Lunch. Afternoon, Felucca ride on the Nile River to the Plantation Island and the Nubian village of Elphantine. Evening, attend the sound and light show in Philai temple. Dinner and night stay on board in Aswan.

Day 5

Sailing Visit Kom Ombo temple. The tour duration about 2 hours. Sailing Visit Edfu temple in the morning. The tour duration about 2 hours. Overnight stay on board.

Day 6

Arrive in Luxor in the morning. Visit the Valley of the Kings, Hatsheput Temple, The Ancient workmen's village of Dier Elmadina, and the Colossal of Memnon's. The tour duration 5-6 hours. Afternoon: Visit Luxor temple and Luxor market using a horse carriage. The tour duration 3-4 hours. Dinner and night stay on board in Luxor.

Day 7

Optional tour: Balloon ride in the early morning after the sun rises. The tour duration is about 2 hours include 50 minutes fly. Transfer to Luxor train station back to Cairo. In case of taking an Optional tour to Sharm el Sheikh Resort, arrive in Sharm airport and transfer to the resort.

Day 8

Optional tours in Sharm: Ras Mohammed National Park. Famous as home to some of the world's most impressive underwater scenery and Eco systems. Glass boat rides. Enjoy with while experiencing different reefs, corals, scuba diving and snorkeling excursions. Discover the life under water in twenty minutes after that enjoy all day on the boat. Colored Canyon One of the best places to see the beauty of the nature while you can enjoy this adventure on a Jeep Safari for 1 day. Camel Safari. Discover the Bedouin life, take a tour on camel & have a nice Bedouin tea, enjoy the atmosphere of Bedouin Tent history week.
